Some of you might know this suite box view of Turner Field in Atlanta, some may wish you did. So what is it doing on my personal blog?
Anyone that knows me will tell you I love my North Georgia mountains. I had a chance recently to make a trip without my motorcycle and with my camera.
Monday I posted “It’s My Birthday Today” a celebration of all the wonderful “gifts” in my life. Little did I know on that day I would receive a fantastic gift from people whom I had just met!
As you are reading this I am off on celebration. Not a quiet one, but boisterous and joyful as it should be on a day like this.
I was taking my usual evening walk when I spotted a group of these blooming in front of an empty house.
The road called to me Sunday morning at 6:10 AM. “Hellooooo Rider! Rider! Get up it’s time to go!” Now the road KNOWS I don’t get up BEFORE 6:15, and my alarm had not gone off just yet. So I turned over hoping for a few minutes peace, not this morning. Again the call, “Rider! get up! Donner is waiting! Let’s go!” As you may have guessed, I’m “Rider” and if you ever want to sleep in on a Sunday morning, never, never, ever take “the road” as a mistress!
